10th of May - Day of history for the Romanian people, Day of Celebration. 10th of may it's the real National Day of Romania, deeply buried in the darkness of the ages by the communists and post communists regimes that followed the infamous year 1947. It's the Day when the contemporary Romanian state was finally declared and recognized by the entire Europe as an independent state. Let's not forget the great work done by our ancestors and by the first King of Romania, Carol the I-st. Leading Romania into the Independence war, King Carol the I-st opened the path for new and outstanding achievements for the Romanian Kings. Great Union performed under King Ferdinand the I-st or ending with at least 6 month sooner the II-nd World War due to King Michael the I-st intervention are just few examples of what Romanian Kings did for the country and for the world. Let's commemorate the dead ones and wish King Michael a long and happy life where he belongs - leading his rightful country to new achievements.
