(3) Hugh de Mortimer, Lord of Wigmore, died 1148. Son of Ralph and Melisande. Married an unknown woman and had son Hugh.

(4) Hugh de Mortimer, Lord of Wigmore, died 1181. Son of Hugh and an unknown woman. Married Maud de Meschin and had son Roger.

(5) Roger de Mortimer, Lord of Wigmore, died June 24th, 1213. Son of Hugh and Maud. Married Isabel de Ferrieres and had son Ralph.

(6) Ralph de Mortimer, born 1190, died August 6th, 1246. Son of Roger and Isabel. Married
Gwladys Ddu and had son Roger.

(7) Roger de Mortimer, born 1213 in Wigmore, Wales. Died October 27th, 1282. Son of Ralph and Gwladys. Married Maud
de Braose (born 1230 in Bramber Castle, England and died 1301) and had son Edmund.

(8) Sir Edmund Mortimer, born 1252 in Wigmore, Wales. Died July 17th, 1304. Son of Roger and Maud. Married Margaret
de Fiennes and had daughter Maud (who was born about 1282, died July 17th, 1304. Married Sir Theobald de Verdon) and son Roger.

(9) Roger de Mortimer, born May 3rd, 1287. Died November 28th, 1330. Son of Edmund and Margaret. He married Joan de Geneville and had daughter Katherine. With his lover, Queen Isabella, he desposed and murdered King Edward II and ruled for young King Edward III until the later's majority.
