I was born again about 4 years ago in August. My family and I had just moved from Arizona to Alabama, and had started attending church with my aunt and uncle, and I was enrolled with my younger brother in a Christian school.

Now, before coming to Alabama, I had no idea what Salvation was! We went to a southern babtist but I had never remembered hearing of such a thing. And one day in Sunday school at the church in Alabama, I remember a lesson being taught on Salvation, and one thing that stuck out at me was the concept of being left out of something. I was on the outside, looking in, and I wanted to be IN!

Well, the same week I started school, our preacher from my church came to chapel to speak. God was laying it heavy on my heart, I needed something. The message was on being left behind when Jesus comes, and when the invitation was called, one of my new friends left her seat and that was all the prompting I needed!

That day in the morning sun of a stained glass window I accepted Christ as my saviour! Yet, just these past years, if not this past year, is when I have grown into a maturity in mind, to understand my duty to my Lord, and what I should be doing in my daily life. God has revealed things to me, has been so close to me when I was running the other way, and I just can't imagine being without Him. I am ever in a struggle with Satan, I think I am his favorite person to decieve! But I know who wins in the end, and praise God I'll be there!
