Nurturing Our Own Dream

"There's something about Morris Brown College
that makes you feel like you're
an important part of the Morris Brown family.
Here, everybody is special."

MBC, the only institution of higher
education in Georgia founded
by African Americans -- a century-old
legacy of "Nurturing Our Own Dream."

In the spirit and tradition
of the African Methodist Episcopal Church,
the College prepares students to meet the challenges
of today and the promise of tomorrow.

As an integral part of the Atlanta University
Center, Morris Brown College has grown in
size and stature into a comprehensive
college of academic distinction.

Modern technology, scientific research,
and specialized career training enhance a strong
liberal arts curriculum -- the
cornerstone of a Morris Brown education.

The notable accomplishments of thousands
of illustrious alumni reflect the
commitment of the College to providing
the opportunity to realize excellence.

Alumni include a Pulitzer
Prize-winning author, the first black
woman to serve as Chief of Police of a major
U.S. city, and more CPA's than any other black college.

"My grades were certainly good enough
for me to attend a big name school,
but I wanted more than prestige. I want
professors who really care about me."

Hospitality administration, paralegal studies,
and dual degree programs in engineering, architecture,
industrial design, and landscape architecture
are now offered at MBC.
