KROQ's Live In It and Win It
Here's some pics from the recent Kevin & Bean contest called "Live In It and Win It"
where four contestants were trying to win the 1998 VW Beetle. What they had to do was live in
the car for two weeks... with Big Tad. Big Tad is their gopher/whipping boy. He's an idiot and
can be rather annoying. The contestants got a ten minute bathroom break every three hours and
then rotated seats upon re-entrance. It seems like an easy task. BUT... there were no reading
materials allowed, no walkman, CD players, pillows, blankets, phones, games, etc. It was them
and that was it. There was even a LiveCam were you could see what was going on in the Bug at
all times. The shitty part about it was that if they all lasted the two weeks the deciding vote was
to be best of seven in Rock/Paper/Scissors. These pics were taken on the third day of the contest
which was held at Universal City Walk at Universal Studios.

That's the beauty that they were trying to win. And, yes, that's my big fat head on the
left.
If you're curious as to the outcome here it goes. Big Tad, due to his large size, exited the
car an hour after these photos were taken and was looked over by a doctor who deemed him unfit
to return to the contest. His legs were swollen because of the sitting position. That didn't end
anything though. K & B tried to make it uncomfortable in the car by having Sam the Armenian
Comedian stop by every day. All the kids remained in the car for the duration. Each trying
different things. One guy did not wear deodorant the entire time and did jumping jacks and
pushups in his ten minute breaks causing the whole car to reek of BO. Another guy, whose
occupation was a mortician talked about how he stitched up dead peoples' assholes to try and
gross them out. One girl was a former beauty queen and talked a lot and was very repetitive
annoying the others. And finally the last girl was just there listening not bothering anyone. They
all lasted the entire two weeks. When they got out it was time for the deciding game. They did
best of seven until the got Heidi vs. Eric. Heidi ended up winning. The amazing thing was when
K & B told the other contestants to open up their envelopes to see what their consolation prizes
were each said, "Congratulations! You have won a 1998 VW Beetle!" So, in the end it was two
weeks of hell but they got a car out of it. *L*
