The Flicks!

Here's some more movies that I enjoy:

• LA Story: Here's a hilarious one with Steve Martin. This movie overemphasizes how ludicrous life in Los Angeles is! From freeway shootings to talking traffic signs. It's definitely worth seeing!

• Clifford: This is a cheesy movie that I absolutely love! It's about a little boy named Clifford, played by Martin Short, that is a tiny terror. The question isn't what he is gonna do, it's what he's not gonna do!

• Dazed and Confused: Here is a great movie about a summer in high school that takes place in the 70s! It's got bud, booze and lotsa laughs! A must see!

• Friday: Now this, as my friend Alex would say, is the shiznit! It's about two inner-city guys, Craig and Smokey, that love to smoke bud and sit on the porch talkin' smack on one particular Friday. This movie is a riot for everybody. Even my mom was laughing!

• Beavis and Butthead Do America: Look at the title and see the stars. Need I say more?

• Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory: This is a favorite from childhood. I loved watching it because it had the chocolate factory that had oompa-loompas and the edible plants. I know, I'm weird, but hey, this is MY movie page!

• Booty Call: I just saw this one recently and laughed my ass off! Jamie Foxx is a hoot in this flick. It's about two guys trying to get their dates into bed and having to overcome a lot of obstacles to do it.

• Evita: This was a movie about Eva Peron and her life and the accomplishments she achieved. Good movie and Madonna played the role very well.

• Happy Gilmore: Here's a movie with my babe and yours, Adam Sandler. He plays a wannabe hockey player with a long drive that makes it big in professional golf. Totally hilarious!

• Billy Madison: Another Adam Sandler movie. This time he plays a rich kid that goes back to school (1st-12th grades) to prove to his dad that he can take over the family company. Once again a hit for Sandler!

• Menace to Society: A movie about thug life. I think it's pretty funny though. Lotsa good lines that you've got to listen for.

• Clueless: Here's a movie about shopping, hair, and life in Beverly Hills. It's funny because Cher is absolutely clueless! Alex: Whatever! *L*

• Gone With the Wind: What can I say, it's a classic! Scarlett O'Hara, Rhett Butler, and Ashley Wilkes are the main characters in this LONG movie about life during the Civil War.

• People vs. Larry Flynt: Larry Flynt is the man! He's right up there with Heidi Fleiss! Great movie about how Hustler magazine got started and his crazy life.

• Casablanca: Another classic. Bogart and Bergman. What a great duo! We'll always have Paris.

• Fargo: Yaaa! Ya bet! This is a dark comedy that cracks me up! It takes place in North Dakota where everybody has a funny accent! Everybody! There's kidnaping, murder, and a crazy pregnant trooper. Definitely not a movie for everyone. Only the patient survive.

• Cheech and Chong's Up In Smoke: It's Cheech and Chong! Nuff said!

• My Best Friend's Wedding: Julia Roberts plays a love-crazed woman who wants her best friend to be happy, but realizes all too late that she wants him to be happy with her for the rest of their lives. Unfortunately, I have to admit to all you guys that yes it is a "chick movie."

• Scream: If you haven't seen this one, big smack to the head to you! It's a great movie! Totally unpredictable and just a great horror film. I can't wait for the sequel.

• Steel Magnolias: A "chick movie" about six women that unite together to be strong. It's an emotional roller coaster; laughter, tears, etc.

• Fools Rush In: This was such a cute movie. Matthew Perry and, yes the one with the perfect body, Salma Hayek play the leads. They get married and then get to know each other. Talk about culture clash!

• Scarface: Now this is a movie. Al Pacino plays the lead mafioso in this flick. "Chu talkin' to me?"
