In October of 1999, Eureka College welcomed Maureen Reagan as a member of the Board of Trustees. She attended a ceremony that broke ground for a new Ronald Reagan peace garden. She appears here alongside Skip Salvesen, Josh Carter, Charles Golden, Lindsey Griffith, and Mia Stortzum.

Just before the Iowa Caucuses held in January of 2000, Skip and Josh attended a rally for presidential hopeful George W. Bush in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. They were close enough to get a picture in midst of a throng of supporters.
