Tom's AlPacino Page


I must confess that it is just recently that I discovered the greatness of Mr. Pacino. In that short time I have made attempts to see as many of his films as possible. I have seen all but seven films. Pacino has proven himself to me time and time again. I' ll give the films that Ive seen in the order of my favorite, to my almost favorites. Then I will give a complete list of his movies.

  1. The Godfather,1,2&3..This series, must be on top. All three.
  2. Scent of a Woman...Hoo-ahh!! The Don's Oscar winning performance
  3. The Devil's Advocate!!...The Devil himself. What can I say. Powerful Devil was he!! Powerful Devil!
  4. Carlito's Way...This movie was everything that Scarface could have been.
  5. Donnie Brasco...The Don acts as a mafia thug. Incredible!
  6. Dog Day Afternoon...Bank Robbery is the scene for This amazing performance
  7. And Justice For All...Plays an angry Lawyer. Al is great when he is angry
  8. Author Author...A serious film told in a comic mode. Very funny and great acting.
  9. Heat...Great job as a cop on the trail of Deniro
  10. Serpico..True Story of a good cop trapped in a bad cop's world
  11. Sea of Love...A very good suspense and mystery movie.
  12. Panic in Needle Park...Al shows the misery and uselessness of heroin abuse
  13. Dick Tracy...A comic book spoof, Al gets to poke fun at his gangster Godfather image. He's hilarious!!
  14. Scarface...A good performance. This film had a lot of potential, but bad writing limits it to little more than a gloried gangster flick.
  15. City Hall...A kind of weak movie, but Al is amazing as the NYC mayor
  16. Frankie and Johnny..Good funny movie.
  17. Scarecrow..Al Pacino and Gene Hackman, two greats play a couple of drifters. Kind of strange.
  18. Glengarry Glenross..Strange movie Smaller roll for the Don, but he is still great.
