Welcome to my Page O' Pictures
First, here are some of my favorite pictures from my trip to Washington State and Guam during the summer of 1998.
This is my favorite photo. Kara is standing on the zigzag path that leads to the top of Beacon Rock in the Colombia River Gorge in Washington State. Beacon Rock is a volcanic plug that was blown from a volcano many years ago and is now resting on the edge of the Colombia River.
There was an old abandoned shack sagging into the woods on the edge of a rarely-used road.
Kara somehow managed to climb the sharp volcanic rock to find a place to think. I took this one in Guam when we were traveling around the island in search of adventure.
And here are pictures of some of my friends here in Austin...
The roommates of APT 431, 1998. The fourth bedroom is constantly changing occupants (Courtney, then Cathy, now Laura). Left to right, me, Cathy, Gretchen, Erin. I've known Gretch and Erin since I was a freshman.
Here's one of some of my friends. R-L: Gretch, John, Carlos, Cathy. .
Courtney! She now works at drkoop.com here in Austin after returning from 6 months in London.
Here is one of me scarfing cheetos. That's Cathy lying on the bed. We're in Gretch's old room in her hometown of Schulenburg, Texas, the ultimate small town. Contrary to our expressions and what you may imagine, many crazy adventures have been had in Schulenburg.
Gretchen and Garrett the night of Gretch's 21st birthday.
