Why so many search engines you ask??? Because the Internet is not organized - one
of its downsides is that there is no central search facility. Consequently, when people make a
web page and want to advertise it on the Internet - there are hundreds of different databases to
submit it to and you many have to look in several different search engines to find out the
information you are seeking. We have attempted to list the most popular ones on this page.
