TITANIC
"It's been 85 years, and I can still remember the fresh smell of the paint. The china had never been used. The sheets had never been slept in. Titanic was called the Ship of Dreams, and it was. It really was."
It was the most expensive movie to make, and it's obvious once you see it.
Such attention went into the production of the movie-from the shots of the actual wreckage at the bottom of the ocean to the preciseness in the costumes and mannerisms of the people of the time- that you feel like you are a part of the action. It's over three hours long, but you hardly notice it because you are so drawn into the story.
Writer and director James Cameron did an excellent job in the filming and production of this movie. He also combines the elements of drama, action, suspense, comedy, nonfiction, and romance into this film so well that
you truly do forget that you are in a movie theater until you hear the sobs around you and you yourself become teary-eyed and emotional. You'll laugh and smile when the characters laugh and smile and you'll cry when they cry. This movie deserves the highest rating and praise.
