Our History

The Delta Epsilon chapter was installed at Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, PA on February 24, 1967. The chapter's founding fathers were Dr. Gene Riley and Dr. Bruce Martin. In 1986 the brothers of Delta Epsilon changed the by-laws and included females in the fraternity.

This organization represents the local chapter of the oldest professional pharmacy fraternity. The objectives of Kappa Psi are to advance the profession of pharmacy educationally, fraternally and socially; to instill in its members diligence, dignity, comradeship, and high principles in the profession; and to foster scholarship and pharmaceutical research. Membership is open to pre-professional and professional students in pharmacy.
