For the last couple of weeks I've noticed when looking out my window, that there's some guy who likes to walk backwards around the campus parking lots. At first, I didnt think anything of it, but it has gotten to the point now where he's doing it a few times a day, everyday. He starts off at one end of a parking lot, and walks backwards to the other end, where he does a backwards -U- turn and then jogs back to the opposite end - backwards. He does this over, and over, sometimes doing a few 'crazy-8's' along the way. Today, a Chevy Truck that he didn't see approaching, almost squashed him senseless. Since I'm a very inquisitive guy, I decided to run out in hopes that I could find out why the heck he was engaging in this weirdo behaviour...Well, wouldn't ya know it, as soon as he saw me coming, he started running like a jackrabbit (you got it -backwards). I never did catch up to him, but I plan on taking a telephoto picture of this guy, and posting it around the school (and on here, ofcourse). The reason Im mentioning this, is because I would like to hear from anyone else who has witnessed this type of behaviour. Does it serve some purpose (other than to irritate already stressed out students like myself)? Let me Know!!
NOTE: The Guy Has Since Disappeared, Is Walking Backwards In Another Parking Lot, Or Was Squashed Senseless...

The little picture above is a snaphsot of the type of notes that I take during those rare occassions when I actually do show up for class... A Lot of people can't understand why I draw pictures instead of writing down words... They sumtimes laugh, and say things like 'Tommy, R U Crazy' or 'What the heck is wrong with U, Tommyboy?'! Well, the truth is that I never take down notes during any of my lectures anymore. The way I see it, Most people are so busy scribbling away, that they never actually get a chance to comprehend what the teacher is saying... Thats why I draw pictures instead! Every picture that I draw is different 4 each lecture...and since they say that a picture is worth 'a thousand words', I figure Im actually craming more into my notes than anyone else in those classes!
In my first year at York I attended all of my classes, and took down meticulous notes...for my efforts I received an overall C average... In my 2nd and 3rd years, I attended a handful of lectures (at best) and drew nothing but pictures when I'd show up...Well, My average shot up to a B+/A- for those years! So U see, It really does work! Try it Sumtime -It just might work 4 U 2! :)
