Let me explain, if I may, why I like Van Halen so much. When I was younger (David Lee Roth era) Van Halen was played around me all the time. I would go over to my grandparents house and my uncle, who was a teenager at the time, would always have Van Halen on. My dad and other unlce also listened to them quite a bit. Some people sometimes see me as a possessed person in that all I think, eat, sleep, and talk about is Van Halen. Ed's guitar playing is an inspiration to all that play guitar. I myself have picked up a guitar because of him. I do not play much, and I am not very good, but I do plan on getting better whenever time allows!

Despite having all of their cd's, and many collector's items, I have yet to see the band live in concert. This is one thing that I can not wait for!

But hey, enough said... Van Halen is the best and will always be the best no matter who the singer is. And for those of you who liked them better with Dave and said they suck with Sammy, and vice versa, are not true Van Halen fans like myself. A real fan sticks with the band no matter what!
