To Be Sure It's Sean




It reads 'Seanchan' Sean not being a Japanese name is written in katakana, the closest sound I could get was 'Shon'. 'Chan' on the end is a cute-sy suffix which is polite. 'San' is usually used, I could've used 'Boku' which is for males but frankly I am sick-to-death of that sexist stuff so 'Chan' it is. If my Japanese is wrong please tell me!

This is now officially Julia's Sean corner. Because it has become apparant to me that since buying 'Into The Sun' that I really like Sean Lennon's music. I was very pleased by this forthcoming because 'Into The Sun' was made my an independant record and not reproducted in Australia, I had to pay up a bit more than I should have to when I brought this addition to my CD collection. However, it was worth it. Not only is Sean a gorgeous guy but his (now ex-) girlfriend is equally gorgeous (she helps out on the album of course!) and I'm pleased to be sure that I brought it!

  • >Yes it's true Sean left Yuka and it now with floosy Bijou Phillips - which means no more Sean in Cib Matto. (Please don't break up Cibo Matto you're too good.) He also seems kindav rifted from the guy he called his "bestfriend", Timo. But in better news Sean looks like to release a second album in 2003.
  • I went to the Big Day Out in Sydney, in the sunny month of Janary, 1999! So what? SEAN LENNON was there. I was also lucky enough to make his concert at the Sydney Pavillion the night before B.D.O. I had lots of fun. So two Sean Lennon conerts in two nights. The best fun ever! Sean is a really really lovely guy, and both concerts were really really fabulous.I'll get some pics of the Pav. concert soon, ok! To all his excellent band memebers;

    I'd like to thank Sean for two brilliant concerts, and everyone involved (the stage manager that got grumpy at us at the Pav. the tour manager, the techie/roadie Noel Gallagher look-alike) especially Jean Paul, you're so fabulous! One day Sarah and I will take up your offer and stay with you in New York! Best of luck in your current tour of Japan guys, with the BBoys. I can't wait until Cibo Matto tours to Australia! I hope that Duma and Sean record the rap-song! I'm practising my Horn like nothing else since you told me Sean! Thanks!~Thankyou soooooooooooo much! You're the sweetest, with the prettiest girl (Yuka), ever! The way everyone treated us at the Sydney Big Day out was really special, thanks guys for a wonderful day. And I hope you managed to get a good surf in!
