Many Canadians have succeded in our own country as well as the rest
of the world. Most made it big in the U.S and it seems that your work isn't valide unless the Americans like you... Where would America be without Canadian help, eh? Let us not forget all the canadians who have worked and still work for NASA, most of whom relocated after the avro arrow project was cancelled (below). For more information about these people go see this site.
There are many famous as well as not so famous Canadians who have done
amazing and incredible things.
The Americans have Superman (invented by a Canadian), but we have our
own unique superhero--he's Captain
Canuck
Controversy is no stranger to our country. Back in the 1950s, Canadians
developed the most advanced jet fighter the world had ever seen. It was
called the Avro Arrow and had engines named after an Aboriginal Nation,
the Iroquois. It was years ahead of what the Americans and Russians had
developped. Obviously, they did not like the idea of their defense market
being taken over by a bunch of canucks, eh! Unfortunately the project was
squashed by a rural Prime Minister from the prairies who had the technological
vision of a prairie dog. Canada as a nation still pays the price for his
folly. Just think about where we would be now...

Bank of Canada controls
our money. Don't you just love our rainbow money!, it may seem strange but it makes it unbelievably easier to find the right amount of money. When I have gone travelling in the United States I always get confused with the money. Once I even gave someone a 10 when I was supposed to give a hundred. But really how crazy is a county who calls their dollar a loonie?
Since Canada is such an immense country it may be difficult to remember
the geography. Not if you studied it every year of your elementary school
career like me. I'll admit that it is easier than remembering the names
of cities in the United States.
If you just need to find out some information about a town in Canada
then check out the Canadian Permanent Committee on
Geographical Names (CPCGN) page. Here you can find every Canadian town there is (maybe).

This is the The Olympic Park in
Montreal which is a very cool place. I've been to the top of the "tour"...
and boy what a view. I think I have some photos of my trip to Monréal (Summer 1997) which I will try to post as soon as possible.
Now for the one industry in which Canadians seem to really excel! The technology and science being developed in my country is amazing. Check it out!
