About Marc, he was born in Emst, Holland, on March 29th 1973.
He's an Ajax player since 1992, signed from the Ajax trainee. Marc helped Ajax lift the European Cup in 1995, and the World Club Cup later that year. He also won three Dutch championship medals, in 1994, 1995 and 1996, a Dutch Cup winner's medal in 1993 and three Dutch Super Cup medals. He scored on his full international debut, against Turkey in Utrecht on February 24, 1993, when Holland won 3-1.
Marc joined Arsenal on June 17th 1997. And he helped Arsenal to get their DOUBLE on his first full season.
Marc played impressive football in France last summer, but hamstring injury stopped him to do more. Fortunately, he soon recovered, and made a goal in Charity Shield, when Arsenal defeat Man U 3-0.
Why he chose Arsenal when there're many other clubs chasing after him?? "Because Arsenal is the only club in beside Ajax who wears red-white jersey."




My comments on him > Marc is very good in running thru the left midfield.. he's also capable in scoring goals....
