Bluff Knoll III (January 2004).
The Creator Triune God rules and cares. There are only 2 Ways to live.
Spontaneous dash to the Stirlings with ET, while he was visiting from Japan.
Made use of the excellent facilities of the Stirling Range Retreat.
Shared the driving, which made for a less wearing trip, despite our lightning visit to Albany.
A lot of cloud and some light rain, towards the end of the journey eliminated the looming shapes of the mountains from the horizons this time.
The next morning dawned brighter and by the time we climbed the summit the storm clouds had cleared, although the waterfall on the mountain (see photo coming online soon), was evidence of the rain the night before. ET maintained a pretty good pace up "the Bluff", and although not running,
I put the "pedal to the metal" a bit and got to the summit in 57 minutes, a reasonably fired up effort I thought. Some great photos, including some of the lizards which were in plentiful supply.
As usual my knees gave me hassle on the way down but "you get that"...
