The Honeymoon of Kathryn and I...
We honeymooned by the banks of an inlet of the Swan River in East Perth at the Sebel Residences followed by a few days at the Broadwater in Busselton and Dunsborough. Our honeymoon finished at the Stirling Ranges Retreat in a Rammed earth Cottage, where we climbed Mt Trio and Bluff Knoll mountains of the Stirling Ranges. I proposed to Kathryn on the summit of Bluff Knoll in December 2005.
Kathryn running, cycling, hiking, having fun and getting engaged
In 2005 Kathryn ran the Fremantle HM 5km, and the Rottnest Fun Run 5km, imroving her time in the 5km. She also hiked on the Bibbulumn Track for 10 hours, and cycled 20km with me. She enjoyed many long 1-3 hour hikes mainly in John Forrest National Park with me. After a half day hike on the Bibbulmun track near Mundaring Weir in September 2005, I knew that day in my heart I would soon propose to her. I proposed to Kathryn on the summit of Bluff Knoll in December 2005.
Kathryn. Some of her interests and some of the life we share...
Kathryn has two Russian Blue cats which she cares for with great devotion and affection. She is a very unique and interesting woman once you get to know her.
She can be very affectionate and caring especially towards animals. She can also be very hardworking, feisty and determined. She is also very clever at times. She has interests in Scrapbooking (similiar in many ways to my interest in webpages), a number of Australian Idol music artists, the West Coast Eagles!, cricket, V8's, most sports, crime TV shows. She is very playful, down to earth, has a great sense of humour, and since 2005 gave her life to God. She likes adventure and travel which she has already done a bit of around Australia.
She is a beautiful, wonderful wife which I thank God for a lot.
We get along well most of the time as we both want to obey God, both have the same relaxed attitude about everyday life, are both very determined when we want to be, share an interest in travel, camping, sports and music.
