Rottnest Marathon weekend October 2004 with team K.
Three of us did the marathon, one guy did the 10k,while D's wife, and N's girlfriend helped out in a crucial! way as support crew....

Hopefully do it again in 2005, and maybe get there a bit earlier so I can cycle around the island a bit and enjoy the experience even more!
Finishing 1133rd in the 2004 City to Surf 12km in 56min 22secs. My "race comments" here
About 10917 people were timed running it I think, and including the 4km/12km walk/untimed entrants there were 23,810 total in the race.
Good to get another B-grade run on the board for the second year in a row, and the 4th time including my '97 and '99 efforts.
About 8km into Perth Marathon 2004, on South Perth Foreshore....and.....Finish!!! of 2004 Perth Marathon....
Those UTG! night rides in the cold wind and rain, which I enjoyed, were a big factor in getting my Perth Marathon 2004 finishers medal.
