Christ's death--My life
The death of Christ is the centrepiece of Christianity--the scandal to Jews and foolishness to Gentiles. Why is it such a scandal? What did Christ achieve by it? Is it just the 'way in', or is there more to it? Does Christ's death affect my marriage? My career?
MYC is a time when we can give questions like these the attention they deserve. Its the time when, for five days, we can forego a year of snacks on God's word, and hoe into a banquet.
Our speakers this year will be Kerry Nagel (AFES National Director) and our own Tim Thorburn(AFES Senior Staffworker).
Mid Year Conference (5 days of action packed learning and
fun!) The 1997 topic was Prayer. Mid year
conference involved students connected with; Christian Union
(UWA and Murdoch), SPECS (Curtin-Shenton Park), FOCUS (ECU),
and Curtin Christian Fellowship. MYC was arguably one of
the biggest and best
AFES
events of the year!!!
