Facts and opinions re: Rageflower;
"They've been playing in pubs and
clubs around Perth, and are distributing their demo tapes far and wide.
They've already scored a mention in HM Magazine for their part in the
4th Australian Metal Compilation." (Source: A.C.M. artist listings, 1996) They have recorded a CD, scored
an interview on RTR-92.1FM Wednesday 13th August 1997, headlined
at Shenton Park Hotel on the 16th August 1997, and have played at the Grosvenor and lots of other places this year.
The style on the CD has some innovative changes from the original
4-piece sound of the demo tape "awaiting", which gives
Rageflower a more diverse, and progressive sound due
to the addition of the electronic keyboard, drums, and
Michelle's soaring soprano vocals.
Some bands I reckon have some similarities to the current
sound include;
Mortal, The Prodigy... Three word description; melodic, industrial,
heavy (in more ways than one)
Ive heard Rageflower play in Wanneroo, Shenton Park (x2), and Curtin Uni, and reckon they are an awesome band!
Goto the
official rageflower website, includes Real Audio sample of what they sound like. CD costs $12.
