Jonathon's Rottnest Marathon 2004 Race Photos
Ran with a bunch of sub 4hr runners in the first 2-5km,
One of these included a bloke who successfully set a world record of 3hr 12min?
for pushing a stroller with a young child for the entire Rottnest marathon on October 24th 2004 A.D.
Finally got to the finish!!! Challenging but extremely memorable,enjoyable experience!

Im hurting, doing it tough...
Grinding it out by the frothy salt lakes.......surreal!...see the white froth on the road
at about 33km mark in "grind planetarium"** mode...
Knifing into savage!!! crosswind on the "causeway" between the salt lakes...

Beautiful scenery including the lakes, and views of the sea, lighthouse,
plus had the dollar girls and the bagpipes out there also...

Finally the FINISH!...after more than 4hrs and 42.2km of running....

After the race blister on foot which has taken over two weeks to sort out, and pretty sore for the next two days,
but VERY! happy and satisfied to finish my second marathon....Much thanks to Team K...
