The Summit Wrestling Alliance

The Summit is back, baby!
Well, perhaps. The old SWA consisted of federations that shared a lot of
common history, players, and characters and that were contributors to the
Summit of e-Wrestling.
The Summit and the SWA fell on hard times, but there is a bit of a move
underway to make the SWA a going concern once again.
- Allied Wrestling International
(AWI)
(Founded as AWE: Early in 95)
- California Wrestling Association
(CWA)
- Continental Wrestling
(CW)
- Electronic Wrestling Council(EWC)
(One of the founders of the original EWC reopened using this name but a new system. Opened: January 99)
- The Global Wrestling Alliance(GWA) (Founded in January of 2002)
- Universal Superstars of Premier Wrestling
(PW) (Reopened as Frontier Wrestling Association: March 98, Merged with USeW in September 99)
- Universal Superstars of e-Wrestling
(USeW)
Every now and then, a Summit of e-Wrestling is held,
where the SWA Federations send wrestlers to a number of
Inter-Federational events.
- A Short list of the Summit Event winners
- The complete Summit 5, February of 1994
- Day One, Interfederational Matches, 74K
- Day Two, More Interfederational Matches, 62K
- Day Three, The Road Warrior Cup, 58K
- Day Four, The Royal Rumble, 60K
- Day Five, The Slick Ric, 89K
I have some thoughts about what the SWA is and
what makes a fed a member.
Gone but not forgotten, former SWA Feds
- The AWA (Founded: 4/96 as KWF, Folded: 4/98)

Pre-SWA Summit Feds
Prior to 1995, there was no SWA -- only e-wrestling, and the Summit itself.
These feds are the ones involved in the Summit.
- The EMWA (Founded: 11/90, Folded:Spring 92)
- The IWF (Founded:Early 92, Folded: Late 92)

- The UeWF (Founded: 11/91, Folded: 6/94)
- The WeWF (Founded: 12/90, Folded: Spring 92)
The Summit shared world is a richly varied one. It not only includes
federations, but other organizations and games. Here are a few:
