Randy Savage is a second generation wrestler. His father is a member of the Wrestling Hall of Fame, Angelo Poffo. Randy's brother is "Leaping" Lanny Poffo. The lovely Miss Elizabeth was his wife and manager, they are now divorced.

Other athletic accomplishments include several years as a professional baseball player in the minor leagues of the Cincinatti Reds, St. Louis Cardinals, and the Chicago White Sox. He once finished a season, third in the league for home runs and runs batted in!
