SENATORS 1999-2000 PRE-SEASON SCHEDULE
KANATA, Ontario - The Ottawa Senators announced their 1999-2000 pre-season
schedule today, featuring home and away games against Calgary, Edmonton and
Vancouver and one visit to Montreal.

The Senators will play seven pre-season games, four on the road and three at
the Corel Centre.

Tickets for the pre-season home games go on sale Wednesday, July 28 at 10
a.m. starting at $19.00, taxes included.

Individual tickets for all regular season games will go on sale Wednesday,
September 15 at 10 a.m. with ticket prices starting at $19.00 (taxes
included).

or in person at any Ticketmaster outlet and the Corel Centre Box Office or on
the internet at www.ticketmaster.ca.

NATIONAL HOCKEY LEAGUE RELEASES 1999-2000 SCHEDULE
Senators launch all-Canadian CBC tripleheader on February 19

KANATA, Ontario - The National Hockey League released today the composite
schedule for the 1999-2000 season.

The Senators will open the 1999-2000 schedule on the road against the
Philadelphia Flyers on Saturday, October 2. Ottawa's first game at the Corel
Centre will come Thursday, October 7 against the Boston Bruins. The Senators
will finish the regular season on Sunday, April 9 against the Tampa Bay
Lightning.

The Senators' home schedule features 15 games on Saturdays and 13 on
Thursdays. Ottawa plays three on Monday, six on Tuesday, one Wednesday and
Friday and two on Sunday.
The Ottawa Senators will be featured on 13 CBC Hockey Night in Canada
broadcasts and will host the Vancouver Canucks (4:00 p.m. ET) in the first
game of the first-ever all-Canadian CBC tripleheader on Saturday, February
19. This game will be followed up by Toronto at Montreal (7:00 p.m. ET) and
Calgary at Edmonton (10:00 p.m. ET). CTV Sportsnet will televise six games
and ESPN2 will carry one.

The Senators will play five games against each of its Northeastern divisional
rivals for a total of 20 games. Ottawa will face its other Eastern Conference
opponents four times each for 40 games.

Against the Western Conference teams, the Senators will play 22 games, 11 of
those at home. Edmonton and Los Angeles will not visit the Corel Centre,
while the Senators will not travel to Chicago, Dallas, Detroit, Nashville and
San Jose this season.

The Senators longest road-trip is five games over 10 days, starting in Los
Angeles on January 11 and wrapping up in Philadelphia on January 20. Ottawa
has two four-game homestands with the first from October 21-30 and the second
from March 21-28.
