WELCOME

Good evening, and welcome to Jenner Park for this evening's League of Wales match between Barry Town A.F.C.and Carmarthen Town AFC. On behalf of everyone at the club, I would like to extend greetings to everyone at today's match, but especially to the players, officials and supporters of Carmarthen. We hope that you enjoy your time in Barry, and that we all see an entertaining match this afternoon, as is usual in games between our two clubs.

CARMARTHEN'S CUP PROGRESS

We were very happy to rearrange tonight's match as a result of Carmarthen Town's excellent Welsh Cup progress, which has seen them reach the semi-finals of this year's tournament.

The conference date for the cup semi-final is April 17th, the original date for tonight's match.

It seems to be becoming a habit, with last year's match also being rearranged - then as a result of our reaching the cup semi-final. On that occasion, Carmarthen were obliging in changing the date, and we are delighted to do so this year.

Best of luck to Tomi Morgan's side in their semi-final against Conwy United.

COMING UP

We have no match this week, with Saturday being designated 'our day off' as a result of their being an odd number of sides in this season's League of Wales.

However, we're back in action next Tuesday, with a League of Wales visit to the Cardiff Athletic Stadium to meet Inter Cabletel. League of Wales action continues with a visit to Haverfordwest County on Saturday, April 10th, and ends with our visit to Aberystwyth on Saturday, April 24th.

We also have to meet Inter Cabletel on a further three occasions, once in the Gilbert League of Wales Cup semi-final here at Jenner Park and twice in the F.A.W Premier Cup, home and away. Please listen to stadium announcements and keep up to date with the local press for information on these dates.
