It's healthy, and it's a girl! We had our level II ultrasound (a detailed ultrasound where they look at all the organs) on 9/25. Everything looked great! She was right on schedule, measuring 1 day ahead of what she should (18 weeks 5 days) so the due date of 2/22 stands.
This ultrasound photo was taken on 9/25. Unfortunately we didn't get any good profile shots because she kept turning towards the ultrasound wand.
This is her spine.

This ultrasound was taken on July 31st at 10 weeks 5 days. The baby had a crown to rump lenth of 34 mm (1.4 inches). It was one of the most amazing things Bob and I had ever seen. I knew we'd see arms and legs but I thought at this age they'd be kind of stiff and jerky but it was nothing like that. The baby was kicking and waving. It kept opening and closing its right hand so we could see fingers (which is apparently a little unusual - they typically keep them clenched this young) and when it would stick its leg out we could see toes. We could see the mouth and eyes. My OB kept laughing and saying we were getting one heck of a show. The ultrasound doesn't anywhere near do it justice - we could see so much more when it was moving around.

This was our 7 week ultrasound. You can't see much but at the time it was very exciting for us. The round circle is the yolk sac and the line with the two dots on the ends is the fetal pole. We could see the heartbeat just above the fetal pole, which was a huge milestone.

This was the first ultrasound at 6 weeks. We couldn't see much, although our doctor said he could see a yolk sac and possibly a fetal pole.
