Bonnie and Cristine threw us a "couples" shower at Cristine's boyfriend John's house in La Jolla. The group picture kind of got chopped off, but here it is anyway. That night some of us went to the Chargers/Niners preseason game. We were tailgating but nobody had any beer. Must have been the hangovers from the bachelor party the night before...
This is the shower the Teglia friends threw for me. It was hosted by Barb (next to Janet) who makes an incredible lunch. Back row: Carol, Camille, Barb, Barb, and Janet. Middle: Connie (Bob'saunt), Mrs. Gollop, Bob's grandmother Nana, and Mrs. Skjaret. Front: Bob's mom Cathy and Bob, who had to show up at the end of the shower to take the presents to the car.
The day before the wedding we took some family and friends (my sister Karen and our
friends Bonnie and Jessica) who had never been to San Francisco on a tour of the city. Here,
Bob and I are flipping Jess(yes, that is a real person, and yes, she did enjoy it) just north of the
Golden Gate Bridge.We had a great day and it was a nice way to keep our minds off the wedding.
Here we are at the rehearsal. It looks like a beautiful day, but boy was it hot.
We just resigned ourselves to the fact that it would be hot for the wedding.
