Stanley Cup notes;
            -In the first 30 years, there were 53 challlenges for the Cup.
*1905-  Dawson City, Yukon challenged for the Cup. They were outscored 9-2
             and 23-2 by the Ottawa Silver Seven.
*1917-  Seattle Metropolitans first American team to win Cup.
*1919-  Cup cancelled due to spanish influenza epidemic with series tied at 2-2-1.
             Many players fell ill, and Montreal Canadiens Joe Hall died as a result
             of the illness.
*1926-  NHL assumes control of Stanley Cup.
*1952-  Cleveland Barons of the AHL challenges the NHL for the Cup.
             Challenge refused on basis they were not considered a Major
             League franchise, plus Cleveland had not yet even won the AHL
             title.
