Long before satellite and cable broadcasting almost every baseball game, there was radio. Broadcasters would paint the image of the game to their listeners either by watching the game live or reading a ticker tape. Leo Lassen was that voice for the Rainiers for many years. Rod Belcher and Dick Barrett took over the airwaves later in the 1950's on KOL 1300 AM.
