COUNTY TEAM RATINGS
My Own Ratings (Webmaster) |
Team | Rating |
Derbyshire | 4.5 - no real batting strength especially in one - dayers, look out for spinner, Glenn Roberts, as he can really hit the ball and gain Derby a respectable total |
Durham | 6 - Harmison the main talent and on my game is often picked for England |
Essex | 6 - potential that never pays off |
Glamorgan | 7.5 - An excellent side and with James, Kallis and Maynard it says it all |
Gloucestershire | 6 - playing against them you should be looking for a win with the lack of quality in the bowling department. But if you take on Gloucester put in spinning pair Martyn Ball and Jeremy Snape for a couple of batsmen sitting in the higher order and you'll be looking to cause some trouble |
Hampshire | 6 - Smith and Stephenson give them runs but again nothing special |
Kent | 6 - another one of those average teams that can play well and often can't |
Lancashire | 7 - top quality players all round |
Leicestershire | 7 - pretty good as well, Kasprowicz making the real difference |
Middlesex | 6.5 - usually always do well in the CGU National League Division 2 |
Northamptonshire | 7 - a lot of quality with the Swann brothers, Matthew Hayden and co. |
Nottinghamshire | 6 - Gallian there only real star as Drakes isn't up to much and read is not as good a batsmen as in real life |
Somerset | 6.5 - Bulbeck is a excellent all - rounder and Jamie Cox is good as well |
Surrey | 7.5 - With all those quality players they've got to be good |
Suusex | 6 - Di Venuto and co. aren't as good as you might have thought |
Yorkshire | 8 - the best county side on the game, the whole team is amazing, from Blewett to Gough |
Warickshire | 6.5 - got the talent but don't play like they should |
Worcestershire | 7 - a strong force in all one - day competitions |
