Welcome to all my runchat friends to my Home Page. I use to try to mention all your names on this page but there are so many of you that there was no way to keep up with the changes. Be sure to check out my close encounters of the RUNCHAT KIND page and my BOSTON MARATHON page. There are links to these at the bottom of this page as well as a link to other runchatters homepages on the runchat page.

Enjoy your visit

Here is a picture of Tanya and I in Boston for the running of the 104th Boston Marathon.

Here is my lovely wife greeting me after the Big Sur marathon.

Some of you may ask "What the hell is he wearing?" That's my world famous frog hat.

In May of 2001 Tanya and I ran the Great Wall of China Marathon and Half Marathon. By far the toughest races in the world.

My moment in the sun came in the Great Wall of China Half Marathon where I ended up taking 3rd overall and 1st American in the race. Ok so there weren't any African runners. Is that my fault? I think not. Here I am with the winner and second place finisher after the race. The winner was Rod Dixon an Olympic Bronze medal winner in the 5000 meters and past winner of the New York Marathon. Second place went to a Danish runner and yours truly was third, thank you, thank you very much.

Here is Tanya and I after finishing the toughest half marathon in the world.

Here I am 3700 steps later with Rod Dixon after the race. Rod's winning time was 2 hours, 3 minutes and change and thats for the half marathon!!!

Here I am on the Great Wall.
