Angie's Amanda Borden Page

Amanda Borden was the Team Captain of the 96 US Olympic Team. She truly was a very important part of the Magnificent 7. Her "Pepsodent" smile could cheer up anyone. She was cut from the 92 team, but she was ready in 96. She had the job of starting the team off on beam. She started them off well. The team just kept going. Amanda Borden is a gymnast few will ever forget. She will be remembered by her smile, her personality, her friendship with teammate Jaycie Phelps, and mostly by her gymnastics.
