I cannot honestly say that I am at all fond of these miniature darts. None the less, they have become an accepted part of Nerf wars by many, and far be it from me to condem it. So here goes.

# 1 The BACKLASH ®

And I thought all Rip Rockets sucked.

It could be useful.

This thing isn't what I'd call a primary weapon. In fact it barely fits the role of a hold out weapon. The first thing you must rrealize about any Rip Rocket weapon is its size. Pictures can be decieving. This thing is tiny. If you put your fists side to side, they would be about the length of the Backlash, which is actually a good size for a Rip Rocket weapon. Anyway, this weapon is pretty cool, although relatively useless unless you fall into the perfect situation. It's fairly powerful for a Rip Rocket, and is a lot of fun to mess around with. It can be stuck to smooth surfaces, via its suction cup, although it is pretty picky about what it sticks to. You cock it and there is a string that comes off of its trigger that you yank to fire. It's major fallback is the plain fact that it uses Rip Rockets and the circulation of ammo for it in any war will be minimul.

The only reason you would use this weapon is if you are playing in a whole house war and are planning to set traps. As far as an all around weapon goes it isn't much to speak of. What can I say? It uses Rip Rockets.

# 2 The Secret Shot ®

Why use Rip Rockets...WHY?!?!?!?!?!

Sure it's great Eric, but one thing, IT'S NOT A SECRET!!!!!!

Well I only used this breafly but it gave me one lasting thought, RIP ROCKETS ARE USELESS!!!!!!! The only Rip Rocket gun I could ever use now is the Mad Hornet, and that's because it can shoot Larami darts. So why make a section like this you ask??? To waist your time!!!!!! MWU HU HA HA HA!!!!!!!! And now for the review. Of the Rip Rocket guns this is one of the best. It actually takes the shape of a hand gun and can fire pretty darn far for a Rip Rocket Weapon. It's still a single shot weapon that can't snipe so I don't personally like it of course. Then there's the special ability, a secret that the entire world knows, well we'll reall get those guys from the third world countries with this one, but the nyou remember it isn't nice to shoot at those who don't have close on, so you see it can't be used.

I don't know, there is no purpos, I gues for a hold out weapon, but I never really liked the idea of haveing guns that can't be used well. Oh I see if I'm aboutto get fried my last resort is the puniest thing I can fit in my pocket, that makes a whole lot of sense. If you are intent on useing Rip Rocket weapons or very small armerments than go ahead use this thing, but not in my wars, we have a humiliation rule, it's humiliating to destroy a whimp who only brought a Secret Shot.

# 3 The Warthog ®

Maybe I can stuff Larami darts in there...

Like a modified SS2....but wait, this shoots RIP ROCKETS.

Ok, here's the deal. This little baby's basically a smaller version of the SS2 that shoots 2 Rip Rocket (looser pellets or lp's for short)at a time. As lp weapons go this was absolutely the creme de la creme 'till the Mad Hornet mod came around, and now the new ones are pretty sweet as well, but no the less the WartHog rocks than most. It's small enough to fit in your pocket or tucked under you belt (comfortable and just sweet to wear...not belts...well belts are cool too but I was talking about the WartHog...)and it packs a two dart punch handy for up close work, and with more power than most lp weapons. Don't try sniping with the thing, though, you might end up with a vortex ring up your......

As far as usage goes I love to stuff this thing in my pocket and just use it whenever I get in a jam, I never liked hold out guns, but this thing actually packs a two dart punch. Besides, it's just more fun to use than any other hand gun. Unfortunately these are no longer on the market in most areas, so you'll probably never find one, but this is all you need to know; It's tiny, and shoots two darts at a time, with two in easy reload position. If you can get your hands on one go for it.
