#1 The AUTO GRIP ®
The question isn't why, it's why not.
My favorite cyber strike, but that isn't saying much.
This gun really isn't all that great all around. It only shoots one dart at a time, and isn't extremely powerful. However, for a gun it's size it is powerful enough to stand out. It attaches to your arm and folds down out of the way. You can flip it back up by pushing a button by the bottom of your palm. The spring isn't that powerful, and you have to flip your wrist a bit, but when you are accustomed to it you can flip it up with ease and speed.
The reason this gun was once in my active pool is it's special feature. It is small and I can carry another gun in the same hand. When my weapon runs dry of ammo I have a hold out sitting conveniently around my wrist. If not for it's ability this thing would be deemed useless in my wars. I love it, but it is only good in certain wars, such as ones that you can have as many weapons as you can carry in.

#2 The CHAINBLAZER ®
This is Nerf?
Yes, some Nerf is actually good.
This weapon, while not ranking as one of my personal favorites, is probably one of the best all around Nerf weapons there are. In fact it is number one in many catagories, when not counting Larami weapons that is. The Chainblazer is about the most powerful dart Nerf weapon, when all guns are left unmodified. It is by far the fastest Nerf weapon, being the closest thing Nerf has to fully-automatic. It also sports an excellent ammo load, however it uses the dreaded chain system, and while some dismiss that saying it can use a belt of up to twenty, mine never fired smoothly with more than the eight it came with. Also, its firing system is a bit akward. The front handle, as you may be able to make out above, is mounted horizontally and is a bit uncomfortable. I always had to hold the section above it, the body of the gun, however, even that gave me blisters. The other strange part is the way you must tug backwards hard to fire the contraption. It makes for poor accuracy unless you pull it back almost all the way to the point just before it snaps into action. You can then give only a slight click to fire it with better than fair accuracy.
According to logic and a great deal of support among my peers in the Nerf world, this weapon should be one of the best, and many believe that to be so. However I never really felt all that good about the Cahainblazer. I guess I never really took the time to become an expert in its use, and some weapons do require such devotion for optimum results. Over all it is an excellent weapon, however it just doesn't suit me well.

#3 The EAGLE EYE ®
Hey this could be good if the sun exploded.
Look mommy, all I had to do was attach a nuclear reactor and voila.
On to the Eagle Eye. As far as Nerf handguns go the Eagle Eye is pretty powerful. After modifications it may lag a bit behind due to the fact that it does not modify as well as most other weapons. However to any purist it is the most powerful NERF hand gun (of course the Larami 500 is at least twice as powerful). The Eagle Eye's laser sight feature is a good idea however an extremely poor aplication of this type of mechanism. It is a very weak beam and can only be at al useful in complete darkness (even then it is questionable). Also, the chambre which holds the lightbulb is not solid and leaks light profusely.
This weapon is very useful in a stricty Nerf war. It has suficieant power and accuracy to boot. However you must simply look on t as a powerful and accurate weapon. It is good without any "special" feature. If you insist on seeing it for its laser sight, or locater beacon as I call it, than you will be disapointed. Overall a good side arm.

#4 The Razorbeast ®
This would be right at home on an antiquated Nerf Battle ship.
No no no, if I really hated you I would have given you a Razorbeast.
What can I say this is the Bain of any true Nerfer's existance. This thing is Big and bulky, has no distance, non-existant accuracy, and on top of all that the Chain misfires more than a Chainblazer. There really is nothing I can say good about this weapon. Well it's not on the shelves any more, but that's about the closest I can get to possitive. Well if you really wanna find a good trait (as some do) it can provide a shower of darts (easily dodgeable) over a certain area. However, if your friends ever want you to use this in a war you better get outa' there because you never know when they plan to sacrifice you. Don't use it, Don't touch it, and Don't even look at it.
Well I would never ever use this thing and neither should you, it just sucks. However, if you really like it, you must be a retarde Todler ®, no I;m kidding (really not). If you like to play wars with large teams and you play indoors, say like a full house war, I suppose you could effectively shove this thing into a room before you enter to make a quick sweep and send enemies running for cover. Reallistically I would only use this (and have) to give newbies a major disadvantage without them knowing. Oh, if you've already brought this thing, then....well, I was joking, it's good, no I can't do that, Return it and buy a RotoTrack.

#5 The Ratchetblast ®
To Raid or not to Raid, that is the question.
Now Johny I told you not to play with your toys at the table.
This has to be the most addictive and fun toy to play with in the world. It's cocking method alone gives good reason to buy one. On a more serious not this is a prety good gun and a useless one at the same time. this gun allows you to fire 4 darts at a fairlt rapid speed using only one hand. It's distance really is pretty bad and it has these damn tubes in the barrels that prohibit the use of Larami Darts. However this can be easily remedied through a simple Modification which to my surprise hasn't been mentionedon any other pages. You simply unscrew the gun (carefully, there are several very annoying and tempremental springs) and ease the barrels out of the gun, they should slide right out. You then remove the bottom portion which exposes thesse tubes and cut the tubes down to les than a half inch. Once reassembled the fun'll fire both Nerf and Larami darts.
This has been in my active pool from time to time and I like the gun a lot. In fact the only reason it's not in my pool right now is the fact that my friend is the owner of the one I have and he likes to use it. I do like this gun because it is a usefull raid and Raid surpressor. However a second Manta Ray would eliminate the purpose of this gun for me all together. Really, this is a usefull gun that's just real damn fun to use. I'd recamend it since Manta Rays are no longer available in many areas.

#6 The RotoTrack ®
A Classic Nicely Redone.
You can stop Flinching now, your gun didn't fall apart.
I know I'll catch some flack for that comment as I have before, but I'm sorry the honest truth is that the Chainblazer fell apart constantly and this thing is damn dependable. For those who are slightly confused lemme explain. One of the most popular, and classic Nerf weapons is the ChainBlazer. The gun this was a remake of. Given the Chainblazer was smaller and a lot more powerful I still prefer the RotoTrack. You see the Chainblazer suffered from constant skipping (not firing some darts) and jamming to the point where the chain of ammo actually fell out of the gun. The RotoTrack is not as powerful as the original but it makes up for that in dependability, and don't get me wrong it isn't weak either.
I use this weapon because like its predacessor it has a very high ammo capacity (higher because it won't jam with large chains) and can be fired at a very fast rate, matched by few. This weapon is a heavy assault weapon capable of devastating an oponent and protecting against any raid. It is not a sniping weapon by any means as people have foolishly claimed the ChainBlazer to be, but that's ok because that's not the slot it fills in my line up.

#7 The Sawtooth ®
If you buy it, It will bite.
OH sweet a clip weapon, no...wait...I just fired it.
The Sawtooth was maybe one of the coolest ideas Nerf ever had and a sweet weapon as well, untill you got to the part about clearing a room. If I hadn't trashed mine I'm sure I could have enlarged the spring or something but the fact is that is one weak gun. It's accurate as hell and fast to cock and just all around a cool gun until you pull the trigger. True the clips had a tendancey to misfire, but I really never had much trouble with jammingand such, the ral trouble was the power, otherwise this wouldbe on my active list with a shining review as one of the greatest Nerf guns of all time.
Well there's really noting to say other than this gun is useless because of it's lack of power. If it had power it would be a sniper gun, an assault weapon, and many other things, but the power, or lack there of, makes it none of these, it makes the Sawtooth spare parts.

#8 The SHARP SHOOTER 2 ®
The simplicity, the ease, the oh-so-painfull modifications....
Hey, how come mine sucks and yours doesn't?
Now the following Rating is for the More common modification to the SS2, but I stopped using that and I now utilize another Modification. I simply took the gun apart and removed the green Splitter and duct-taped the barrels right onto the plunger's Air fork (reffernce Spoon's page for this one as well). I also stretched the Plunger spring to increase distance. I am planning on adding rubber bands to the finished product but right now I don't have any large enough, so I'll have a rating for now I'll change it as soon as I get the Rubber Bands. Of course the distance is terrible after splitting pressure the air in 2 each barrel getting half the usual amount, but with the lengthened Spring it's not much worse than the original unmodified Gun.... SUCKY!!! However the 2 dart spread aids in raiding if you only have one Manta Ray.
I use this Mod on the gun because the gun became useless to me even when it was powerfully modified becauseI found it still couldn't match the SuperMaxx line, and I ran out of Rubber Bands. I love to raid, that's my style so this mod is a very good pair with my Manta Ray untill I get a second Manta Ray, even then my friends probably won't let me use both (makes me omnipotent). So really this gun isn't that great, but it fills a gap for now.

ORIGINAL MOD
Before I even begin to talk about this weapon, I must address the above statement. Reading this, you may be thinking, "What is he talking about? I have this gun and it flat out sucks." Well, there is a simple reason why I am about to say good things about this gun even though you and I both know it sucks. Mine is juiced. Very simply modified to add about 30 ft. to its distance, and sting to its strike. Using three industrial sized rubber bands (8 inches that is) I modified this gun to a point of power where I had no choice but add it to my active arsenal. I found instruction for these mods from my good friend spoon Spoon's site. I advise you look to his site before modifying yours. So why''s it good? Power, accuracy, size, arming method, and ammo hold. Of course none of those mattered at all until it achieved power.
This weapon is active for several reasons. It is a hand gun, small, easy to aim, and comfortable. It has tremendous accuracy, and always has, hence the name Sharp Shooter. It is a cocking weapon, making it easy to load arm and hold with reliability and instant trigger action. And, what makes all this actually matter, its power is extreme. When unmodified this gun is completely useless. I had returned my own before I knew of the mods I could make.
