Bottom-of-the-table
Oldham picked up only their second win of the season but they often lived
dangerously in a match full of end-to-end entertainment.
Luton twice hit the woodwork through teenager Matthew Taylor before the home side took the lead in the 66th minute. David McNiven raced clear after beating an offside trap to slot home his first goal of the season. But the home side hit back to equalise after 85 minutes. Keeper Gary Kelly raced too far off his line and Luton substitute Neil Midgeley pounced on the error to stroke the ball into an empty net. But Oldham were not to be denied and top scorer Mark Allott headed the winner in the 90th minute fir his fourth goal of the season. |
