No Brasil, é costume se dizer que futebol é jogo pra homem. "O velho e violento esporte bretão", como diria o Luís Mendes. Já nos Estados Unidos, o futebol é considerado esporte para mulher. "Delicado demais, justificam eles". E a explicação é óbvia: o futebol
( football) lá é praticado com uniforme de guerreiros medievais e o contato físico brutal é parte do jogo. Bem, cada um com a sua opinião, suas tradições e suas preferências. Eu mesmo, olhando a foto abaixo, começo a pensar se realmente o futebol não é um esporte extremamente adequado às mulheres.
