Numa Pesquisa recente, a revista Guerin Sportivo, da Itália - uma boa revista, por sinal-, elegeu o argentino Di Stefano(um nome bem à italiana !) como o maior jogador de todos os tempos. Di Stefano foi um príncipe. Mas a coroa de rei pertence a um negro brasileiro, aquele mesmo negro que ajudou a exterminar a Itália na Copa de 70 no méxico. Um homem que guarda entre seus troféus o de Atleta do Século.Nesta mesma eleição, não vi o nome de Garrincha. Muito estranho, muito curioso, muito triste. Olha, meus caros, a história não costuma perdoar equívocos tão graves e injustiças tão absurdas. Mas Pelé, ora Pelé já deve ter lhes perdoado. Quanto a Garrincha, há de estar rindo lá de cima. O primeiro que subir será vergonhosamente driblado. Pela direita, como sempre.
