 You take a step forward and find yourself in a
totally new world. You now see sparkling things, sort of
like dust, in the air around you and catch glimces of wings
as you turn your head. You reach forward and try to grab the
sparkly stuff, but it just flows through your fingers. It
does make you feel happier though.
Suddenly you hear a little laugh, and a fairy
pops out of thin air right in front of you. 'Welcome to
Lauren's Land of Spirit.' the fairy chirps. 'This is where
Lauren shows her Site
Fights spirit. She's put a lot of effort into it, and
she would love to hear what you think of it. Please feel
free to rank her spirit page, it would mean so much to her.'
With that the fairy zips away, leaving you staring at the
sign below.
You do as the fairy suggested (hopefully,
anyway *S*), then come back to continue through Lauren's
Land of Spirit. Unfortunitly, it's only then that you
realise that the fairy didn't tell you where you could go.
'Oops, sorry!' says the fairy, who has once
again appeared out of no where. 'In this land there are many
places you can travel to. My favourites are the
spirit garden, the

Fights and Lauren's Wee One page,
because she's a little fairy like me. There is also the

Okay, by now you're probably wondering what on
earth I'm going on about if you're not part of the Site
Fights, so I'll explain it to you.
The Site Fights is an online competition. You enter your
hompage into it, and depending on how good people think it
is, you hompage can move up the rounds. The best thing about
it is that it's the people who visit your site who choose
how good it is, by decideing if they want to vote for it or
not. Another great thing is the amount of friends you make,
because almost everybody there is really nice.
Okay, now you understand what the Site Fights
are, but what is all this spirit stuff you hear about? The
spirit is this elusive 'thing' that keeps everyone at the
Site Fights so happy. It's the community feeling at the Site
Fights. It's the reason why people past cheers at
Shout
it Out. It's the reason why people become
Spirit
Fairies and Wee Ones. It's why I keep coming back to the
Site Fights even though I keep losing. *S*
