In which Piglet is entirely Surrounded by Water Piglet lives in a wonderful house at the edge of the forest. It used to belong to his grandfather, who's name, Trespassers W., was on a sign out front. One very rainy day Piglets house filled with water. The water came up so high that the water almost came in through his window. Being a Very Small Animal, he did not know how to save himself so he sent a message out in a bottle. Pooh found a message and thinking the P's were Pooh's he made himself a boat out of a jar of hunny and paddled all the way to Christopher Robin's house to have it read to him. When Christopher Robin read that Piglet was trapped and being that the forest was covered with water and there was no way to get to him, Pooh said something so clever that Christopher Robin could not believe that his Bear of Very Little Brain had said it at all. "We could go in your umbrella," said Pooh. And so using the umbrella as a boat Christopher Robin and Winnie-the-Pooh went off and rescued Piglet.
