Well in this room I am not going to tell you the story of the band but I am going to tell you my story, how I began to Love his great band!!!
I have been a fan of this band since 1993 when I was about 12 years old!!! The person who led me to this band was my brother!!! He bought the album 'Keep the Faith', At that time I did not have my own computer so I used to go in his room to use the computer and while being in his room my brother used to play this album and I said to myself ' Hey this band is really great!!!' so I heard all the album!! I used to fight with my brother because as I did not have my own stereo I had to hear it in his room and he did not like that I used to stay all the time in his room hearing the same record!!!
Days passed and my parents decided to buy me a stereo with a Cd player!!! To try the cd player I convinced my parents to buy me a CD too :o)!!! The shop which sold me the stereo did not have any Bon Jovi albums so I decided to buy Aerosmith!!! Anyway after some time saving a lot of money I bought all Bon Jovi albums but my brother did not want to sell me or give me the Keep the Faith album and after some time crying, praying and begging, we changed CD's, I gave him the Aerosmith album and he gave me the Bon Jovi album!!!
My friends began to give me posters about this band !!! And I noticed that the lead singer of this band was really Gorgeous!! I wanted to know more so I bought the book by Malcolm Dome which has all the story in full details until Keep The Faith days!!!
I used to spend all my pocket money in Bon Jovi stuff!!! Like shirts, pendants, photo albums, files, magazines and lots of others, I've also went in the official Fan club of New Jersey!!! I became a total obsessed about Bon Jovi!!! All I did was dreaming about Bon Jovi and to meet them!!! I was obsessed!!! I fell in love.... I loved Jon a lot, and my dream was to marry him cause I thought he was the perfect person for me!!! I liked his songs, his character, everything!! I used to send birthday cards to Jon and even Valentine Cards , When I was depressed I used to write him letters!!!
Jon changed a lot. I do not know but I do not like the idea that he acts because I love Jon the singer. I mean Jon for me is the guy who conforts me with his songs when I am sad but as long as he loves it , I will love it too.
Anyway
years passed and now we are in March 1998, I am still waiting for my dream
to come true and see Bon Jovi all together altough I will miss Alec but
Hugh is a great bassist too. Ihope in the 1999 I will see Bon Jovi united
again with a great album. A new page on a new chapter.
