Anime Quality
The artwork of Ranma is quite simple but effective. The animation flows smoothly as the story unravels. The plot is very unique and humorous. The sound and the music of Ranma are typical of japanese animation sound. The violence and nudity are at the maximum of PG-13 level. But it is probably ok for the G level audiences as well. This series focuses on the humor aspect of Japanese animation. No adult themes are found.

Synopsis
Ranma Saotome travels from China to Japan to meet his destined fiance. Upon entering the house of Anything Goes Martial Arts, Ranma and his father meets a household of a father and three daughters. The youngest one, Akane, became the chosen fiance from Ranma. Although on the outer appearance, Akane and Ranma seem to dislike each other, as the anime series continues, a strong but odd relationship develops. To add weirdness to this story, Ranma and his father were cursed by a tragic accident at an enchanted spring in China. Whenever, they come in contact with water, Ranma becomes a girl while his father becomes a giant panda. To further complicate the story, a few more girls enter Ranma's complex relationship with Akane. This is a great anime series with excellent slapstick humor. Definitely recommended.
