Anime Quality
The animation in Video Girl Ai is similar to what can be found in other shoujo (girl's) manga, particularly focused on facial expression. As this anime is not based on fighting, the animation tends not to be overly flashy or bright, but rather, subtle in it's effects. The characters, however, are beautifully rendered. The personalities of each person are inscribed into their individual faces. The music in this OVA series, was generally on par with other series. The mood of each situation was well reflected by the music. All in all, for animation quality, there are many other impressive shows, but this one will not fail to please you if you like the story.
