Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory tells the story of a young boy, Charlie, and his dream to find a golden ticket and see Mr. Willy Wonka's chocolate factory. Charlie's family is rather poor, and every bit of money Charlie earns from his paper route he buys food for his family or pays for his grandpa's tobacco. One day after the last ticket had been found Charlie found money in the street so he bought 2 Wonka bars. He ate one and as he walked out of the store the paper announced the last golden ticket was a fake, and low and behold Charlie opened his chocolate bar and THERE IT WAS! THE LAST GOLDEN TICKET!
This is the house in which Charlie and his family, his mother, Grandpa Joe, Grandma Josephine, Grandpa George, and Grandma Georgina, live. All four of his grandparents are bed-ridden, and have been that way for 20 years! Until the day Charlie brings home the last golden ticket, that is! When Grandpa Joe read the ticket and finds out it says he can take one other person, G.J. jumps out of bed and can walk again!
