What Makes A Day |
This I ponder as I wonder, What it takes to make a day. It takes a morning, noon, and night, And lots of love along the way. |
It takes some task to challenge us, And a friendly humble style It takes a heap of little things, To make our life worth-while |
It takes a sunset in the sky That'ere returns at dawn Stars at night, so shiny bright, And flowers to bedeck our lawn. |
It takes a little bird's pulsing throat To make a sweetest song, It takes a kind-forgiving heart, And one that's ever strong. |
It takes a sense of brotherhood It takes a friend who shares, Children's laughter and sometime a tear It takes someone who cares. |
It takes a mother's endless love, And a Dad's along the way It takes all this and yet some more, This is what makes a day. |
