WINTER MAGIC |
Have you ever seen the country When the snow lies deep and white, And the stars make silver candles On a moonlit winter night. |
Have you ever seen the country When hills were all aglow, And the trees were trimmed in ermine From the newly-fallen snow? |
Then you've seen the beauty of winter New snow upon your lawn, Crispy, frosty, golden moonbeams, Translucent pearls of dawn. |
For winter's a breathless time of love Whispered across the land, When the Christ Child let all Christians Touch each other's hand. |
'Tis Holy time when church choirs sing About a saviour's birth, For in that far-away manger He brought hope to this earth. |
Winter's a season of beauty There's joy in winter's art, Snow diamonds and silvery stars Put magic in my heart. |
