| Hello, my name is Sky and I am a boy of 8 years old. I will be 9 in May. I am in the third grade and really like school. It is fun learning how to write in script and going on field trips.
I live here at The Kajun Nest with my older brother, Chance who is 15; my older sister, Morgan who is 13; and my younger sister, Kaitie who is 6. We all have our own rooms here in the nest, maybe you have already visited with the others? If you haven't, please drop in, I know they would love to have you.
We all live with our Granny and PapPaw and have for the past four years. We live in South Louisiana and have lots of fun here. Right now it is Mardi Gras time and we are going all the time to all kinds of parades. We get to dress in costume and catch Mardi Gras beads, candy and doubloons. Doubloons are kinda like money the pirates used to have. I have a pretty good collection of them from all the years I have been going. Anyway, during Mardi Gras time it is the time for eating King Cakes (yummy!) and just having a good time.
I like to play all kinds of sports. I just finished the basketball season and am now waiting on the spring soccer to start. I play defense on both. I play baseball in the summer, my position is right field. I switch hit at batting, and since I am left-handed, that throws off the pitcher somewhat. It really messes with the pitchers, ha. I also love to swim and here in Louisiana we get to do that a little bit longer than people who live in the North. I have been practicing my diving and am getting really good at it. My coach told me maybe I could go far with it. I certainly hope so. I think I would like to try out for the Olympics someday.
