I've seen a side of him
I never thought was there.
When the walls came tumbling down,
I found he really cares
About what happens in my life,
The good times and the bad,
So much that he'd do anything
To cheer me when I'm sad.

I never expected to feel this way,
Not in a million years.
I never thought he'd be the one
to silence all my fears.
So far away from home,
I thought for sure that it was lust,
But I opened my eyes and realized
He's someone I can trust.

I never knew love could be this way,
But now I know it can,
And I can't say how glad I am
I finally found this man.
