"Once I was reading a story to my daughter, and I was going nuts doing each of the voices. She finally rolled her eyes at me and said in this exasperated little voice, 'Dad, just read the story, okay?' " -- Jim Cummings (from the Fall '94 issue of The Disney Magazine, I believe; I will verify this soon)

Jim Cummings has been called "the voice of Disney" by many fans and professionals alike. He is one of the most ubiquitous voice artists in the business today. However, much of his work during the past few years has been in commerical voice-overs and movie trailer voice-overs. I won't be listing these for the simple reason I can't keep up with the work, but if he is the main actor for more than a couple commerials for one particular product, I may include some of those, but even that is a lot of work to keep up with.

"The voice of Disney" is a most appropriate title for Mr. Cummings. He did voice work for every Disney Afternoon series, and was a main character for each of those. In fact, the only Disney animated series for which he didn't provide voices was the short-lived Wuzzles. He did and does the voice of Winnie the Pooh since the series began, and since Paul Winchell's retirement, all but on a couple of occassions he has done the voice of Tigger, as well.

A credit list will be up shortly, as will a bio and possibly some transcripts of a few interviews. I cannot put any pictures of him up at this time, so please do not ask.
